A NEW YORK NEW YORK CHRISTMAS

AT LAX TO JFK

.....The iconic NY slogan and YES I certainly do love NY! Undeniably, without question the city I LOVE and the place my heart rests!

I hope you all had a beautiful Christmas and are enjoying your Holidays with family, friends, and loved ones. I wish you love, health and much happiness in 2013!!!

I am Home for the holidays. New York during Christmas is simply enchanting & magical. Spending time with my family and friends can not be a greater gift. I've spent my first week, Uptown, Downtown, Broadway Show (Wicked...it was beyond spectacular) and the view from my gorgeous hotel is absolutely breath taking. The most delicious food, the best restaurants, impeccable service and of course The New Yorkers! New Yorkers are just fantastic passionate colorful people. They are witty & quick. They are smart, dream big, and achieve bigger. They are ready for the punch line. They are rigorous, resilient and fiercely unstoppable.

Looking out the 20th floor of my hotel room the city lights mesmerize me beneath the faint twinkling stars. If I squint my eyes searching the horizon beyond the east river I just could not tell you where heaven and earth begins and ends. Maybe because this is my home town this city holds me tight in this grand chaotic serendipity that makes New York so vibrant. Gazing over the towering dramatic skyscrapers it is unimaginable this was once a Dutch Village four centuries ago. One can not ignore the prestige, the power, and the brilliance of grandeur always aiming toward the sky that is a normality and So typical of its essence and the souls that make it great...this is New York!!!

I took so many (I-Phone snap shot) photos it was difficult to decide which to share with you. At every turn my brain took dictation. This city inspires my creativity, my work and astounds with its dynamic style that perfumes my soul. Walking the long avenues made me realize this city made me so much of who I am today. Although I love the warmth and sun of California, I'm lucky... I'm so proud to call myself a New Yorker and this city my home, my town.
This blog is simply my photo diary and dedicated to all people who feel like New Yorkers everywhere around the world.
